SUSU commUNITY exists upon the stolen abenaki land, presently known as vermont. we acknowledge the nulhegan band of the coosuk abenaki nation, koasek abenaki tribe, elnu abenaki tribe, and the missiquoi abenaki tribe. we pay homage to our afro-indigenous ancestors. the ones who planted seeds of liberation against all odds, and to the ones who chose the water. we are because you are.
