Tree Planting and CommUNITY Potluck

SUSU Community Farm started in 2020 after witnessing the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on food security of BIPOC in this portion of Ndakinna.

We will be healing land that has been hayed and robbed of nutrients for years. Part of that healing is leaning into agroforestry.

The event will start at 10am until about 4pm at 94 River Rd, Newfane, VT 05345.

This is a potluck style commUNITY event. We will be providing some food and drinks but of course, the more the merrier! If you want to make it extra special and bring a cultural dish or something of importance to you we would be honored to share a meal with you.

We're also asking the commUNITY to bring shovels and gloves if they have them. Wheelbarrows would be SUPER appreciated. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes. This is a working farm and we care about your safety.
