About the Event
About the Instructor: Olùkọ́ni Oríadé Ìpọ̀sọ́lá Ajétẹ̀lú, formally known as Shittu Abdullahi Fọwẹ́wẹ́ is a young scientific native speaker and teacher of Yorùbá Language and Culture. He had this saying: "I am a teacher by birth, training and interaction". He has deep knowledge in Yorùbá, Arabic & English. So, as a linguist, he interacts in his class with students with a special approaches suitable for easy assimilation, understanding and self-development. He is an open spiritual teacher and has trained many students in diaspora in acquisition of Yorùbá Language and culture. Finally, no man without a town, he is from Sakí, Ọ̀yọ́ State, Yorùbá Land, Nigeria.
Cost: The cost of this course is $400 which equals $20 per class.

Level One: Beginner Yoruba
This comprehensive introduction to the Yoruba language equips students with the foundational tools they need to begin speaking and understanding Yoruba, including correct pronunciation and the roots of the language (how the language is built, where the words are from, sounds, syllables, pronouns, time, greetings, and more).
This is a 10 week long course with a 1 month break before moving onto level 2. There will also be free weekly study group opportunites
